Have you been to the Matheson Yet?

I had the pleasure of photographing an event for the YPO- Golden Gate Chapter during their retreat in Sonoma County this weekend. They spent Saturday evening on the rooftop of the hottest new restaurant in Healdsburg The Matheson.

The rooftop which they call Rooftop 106, is a beehive themed cocktail lounge and it did not disappoint. From the honeycomb hand cut tile to the creative light fixtures every little detail has been thought out to perfection.

While all of the visual aspects are absolutely perfect, that is not even the best part! The big buzz around town (see what I did there :) is their farm to table menu. While I only saw a small sampling of what they offer, it was all amazing! Classics like a Margarita pizza to creative new twist on corn on the cob!

Have you ever seen a fresh charcuterie station? It was a first for me. We are really stepping up our game Sonoma County.

And last but not least, we cannot forget about the drinks. Wine from Valette and specialty cocktails were served all evening. Check out the process on this rum themed drink, candied pomegranate, a dried orange slice, pineapple palms and shaved cinnamon decorate the top before it get set on fire to bring out the aromas.
