1. Why Should I Hire a Photographer for My Proposal?

A proposal is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and professional photography ensures every reaction, tear, and smile is preserved forever. You'll be able to relive this milestone and share it with loved ones who couldn't be there.

2. How Does the Photographer Stay Hidden During the Proposal?
Proposal photographers are experts at being discreet. They’ll work with you to find the perfect hiding spot or blend seamlessly into the environment to capture every candid moment without spoiling the surprise.

3. Can the Photographer Help Me Plan the Proposal?
Yes! Depending on how elaborate you want to get. I cant help you schedule your hot air balloon or skywriter but I can offer planning advice, including location recommendations, timing suggestions for optimal lighting, and tips on how to maintain the element of surprise.

4. How Far in Advance Should I Book a Proposal Photographer?
To ensure availability, it’s best to book at least a month in advance. During busy seasons like holidays, booking even earlier is recommended.

5. What’s Included in a Proposal Photography Package?

Packages typically include the proposal itself and a post-proposal engagement shoot. Edited high-resolution images are delivered in an online gallery. Some photographers also offer add-ons like prints or albums. In case you missed it here's exactly what's included in mine.

6. What If the Weather Doesn’t Cooperate on the Proposal Day?
I will help come up with a contingency plan if were planning a winter proposal. But here in California even if we have a light rainfall rescheduling is usually not necessary.

7. How Do I Make Sure My Partner Is Camera-Ready Without Spoiling the Surprise?
A great way to subtly prepare your partner is by planning a “special date night” or asking a friend to suggest dressing up for a fun outing. I have some more tips here.

8. Can You Help Me Choose a Location for the Proposal?
Absolutely! I love recommending scenic or meaningful spots based on your preferences and ensure the setting works beautifully for photos.

9. Will the Photographer Guide Us After the Proposal for Photos?
Yes! After the proposal, I include a brief engagement session to capture the post-proposal joy and excitement. Part of my job is to help you feel comfortable and relaxed during your session while still looking your best.

10. How Long Will It Take to Receive the Photos?
Turnaround time is within 2 weeks. I do offer a sneak peek asap! I know how excited you are to share!

11. Can I Keep the Proposal a Surprise Even From the Photographer?
I STRONGLY discourage this! Having both of you on the same page ensures that they will be on their toes and have camera setting correct at just the right time and location.

12. What Happens If My Partner Suspects Something During the Proposal?

It's ok, they are probably pretty in sync with you and will love the moment even if they do find out about it. That being said, I will do my absolute best to stay describe during the big moment.

13. Can I Bring Friends or Family to the Proposal?
Yes! Many proposals include loved ones. Let me know in advance so we can plan to help them keep the surprise.

14. What Should I Do If I Get Nervous and Forget the Plan?
Stop drop and roll! Just kidding, this happens! If it does look for me or in the direction of my hiding spot. If you travel outside of where I can see you, I am going to move to catch the moment. Sometimes the means jeopardizing the surprise <--- this hasn't happened yet. But I don't want to miss it. Also it's amazing what making eye contact with me can do for your memory.

15. Can I See Examples of Your Previous Work?

Yes! Here is my portfolio.
